That's a beautiful piece of writing. This year it's been taking me much longer to feel ready for spring and summer. Very long hibernation mode!

Dearest Jesse…what a beautiful surprise awaited me this morning as I began my morning reading…not only your exquisite poem, but its reading, aloud, by you with your gentle and heartfelt voice. Another dimension, an addition to the lovely words describing in detail the emergence, the glory, of spring, a time of awakening, remembrance, renewal. Without consciously aware of my thoughts, I suddenly felt my beautiful Stephanie and beloved brother Joey, next to me, exchanging love and laughter with me. Thank you for this priceless gift…your words and gentle voice that brought them, and memories of my loved ones, to life. Treasure I shall carry, with care, throughout my day.

"I wanted to read one piece of my own, but the wind had blown my pages off the music stand, and without knowing the order or being able to decipher it quickly, we played a song instead"

This is almost a poetry unto itself. The words live on in the scattered pages and the song was the song of the wind carrying them away to whoever found them.

I loved your poem. April is a month of intense growth after a long winter. I spend every sunny day in my garden and love every moment spent with the soil and plants. I sort through the seeds I gathered in the fall and plot when and where to sow them. I missed seeing the moon last night as the clouds rolled in and blocked our view; today is rainy, but tonight, I think the sky will clear, so I'll see the moon, and tomorrow will be sunny. Today is a good day for growing new poetry. Thank you for reading your poem to us!

What a lovely poem Jesse, and how wonderful to close my eyes and float away with your words and your beautiful voice. I looked up at the Full Moon last night and breathed in a sense of calm and renewal.

Dear Jesse, thank you for this wonderful post. Hearing your voice reading the poem you composed in 2014 for Earth Day made me so happy! Your words, composed in that beautiful text, are really nice and the meaning of the poem is very positive. It all really helped me find some peace. Spring, for me who has a tendency to experience depressive moments, is sometimes a little complicated... the enormous happiness that animates me seeing beauty blossom, life starting to throb again, the colours, the warmth that nature begins to receive again... this great happiness, in my soul perhaps too sensitive, sometimes lets a melancholic sadness take its place... But perhaps I'm talking too much about myself and I would like to conclude this comment by thanking you again for your posts, often full of interesting information and therefore a source of positive inspiration. Thank you for the beautiful photos of such a joyful and peaceful event and also for the magnificent full moon over the city.

I'll try to leave you in the chat a photo of my little village (shared between Italy and Italian Switzerland) in the spring.

A dear hug, sweet Jesse, and with you to all your readers. Luca

Thank you for sharing your poem, I found it beautiful. I saw the moon last night, it was a joy, with just little wisps of clouds passing in front of her.
