What a great post! I love Philip Glass, when I lived in NYC in the 90s, I made the trek to BAM to see his productions. I now live in Ann Arbor and there is a great live music scene here, creativity is boundless, and all without the big city hassle. Glad you featured Tim.
I remember going to see Patti Smith at the WHBPAC, and Jesse you were there as well. It’s a small venue and it was some years back. I remember so much of that evening, including mom wanting to change into a left behind shirt that had to be retrieved. It had been a moment and we in the audience felt part of the moment that made her happy & the party continued after she put it on.
It’s kind of great to now see so many dimensions of you. It’s interesting after years before knowing just that one night’s performance…now it’s multi layers thanks to your writings
