Hey Jesse, your gift just arrived and I’m Dill or gratitude! I love your photograph and your personal message and the beautiful cards! Thank you! 🤩🙏🏻💥🔥💕💕💕💕🩷
You have said you would like to more Substack publications. You even added, " Make sure to share yours or ones that you especially enjoy. :)"
I hope you will take a look at my stack which is called dispatch from bewilderness. It is one year old this month. But I lost my former freelance brain and my former freelance brand about 18 years ago. It took 17 years for me to start writing again. Nevertheless, I was nominated this year for both Best American Essay and the Pushcart Prize.
Abby’s words rang so true for me too. Such a sweet holiday anniversary gift! One of the cards you sent touched my heart, so it is displayed where I see it and be reminded to look forward ♥️ Happy New year to you. I look forward to your Substack in 2025.
Jesse, what perfect timing: Your one-year anniversary for this beautiful column and a generous, considerate, & lovely holiday gift to me & so many others to celebrate it all.
Thanks for the lovely cards, remembrance of your dad, and a photo of YOU. So very generous & thoughtful of you to go to the trouble, expense, and effort to send such a gift. Thanks again!
Best wishes for a Happy & Healthy New Year and many more substacks from you.
Happy Anniversary, Jesse, thank you for sharing your beautiful writing. I particularly felt your pain over the potential loss of the beautiful park in NYC, that series probably stuck with me the most as I think nature really feeds our soul. One of my big goals is to make sure that when I am out in the forest by my community, I look out with my eyes instead of into my head with all its worries.
I am so happy to say I’ve journeyed with you for your entire year on Substack. What I love most about your posts is that you look at a finite topic in infinite ways. I have learned and grown and become curious thanks to the magical portal you offer in your musings. Thank you, Jesse, for the inspiration. I look forward to the next year thinking along with you. Oh… and thank you for the beautiful notecards. They arrived in my mailbox yesterday… a happy winter solstice surprise! ❤️

You are all the ambience we need. You have such a big heart. Watched an old video with Michael Stipe singing The Leaper. You accompanied him. How beautiful and it felt like I was spotting a friend in a photo. It gave me joy. So imagine how much joy this video gave me. May you feel joy today.
I literally my sacred heart candle today for you. It came yesterday in the mail. When I purchased it I had no idea it was for this moment. Cheers to your anniversary and all that love and follow you.
Congrats Jesse! I have some Edward Gorey goodies that I picked up at the Edward Gorey house for you that I would love to get to you sometime. Happy Solstice! 🕯️
Jesse - I’d love a postcard from you and the card about your father’s anniversary. You are such a sweet light. I loved your closet video. Thank you! ♥️
Hi Jesse, thank you for this message. You are such a positive and kind person which is just what one needs when one is judging oneself so harshly as I tend to do! I wish you a very happy Christmas from blowy rainy UK ! 🎄
Happy Solstice Jesse and congratulations on your year on substack. i'm so sorry i will have to leave off being a subscriber, i so admire your writing and compassion but when i needed to change down from an annual to a monthly sub i was forfeited the balance of my subscription without warning. so im sorry but will have to go, all good wishes for the coming year
