Hello, everyone. Happy Sunday and Happy Mother’s Day. 🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷
For many, today is a day of celebration and honoring. For many, today is a day of feeling appreciated. For many, today is a day of remembrance or grieving. For many, today is a day of painful memories or troubling thoughts. For many, today is a neutral day, a regular day, the same as any day. There are no rules today, and here in this post, we have no expectations, only to share in honesty or in quiet, anything that feels best.
It’s late in the day, but I wanted to continue a tradition that I’ve done on Mother’s Day and Father’s Day on Instagram for many years - a remembrance garden - to choose/take a flower and leave a thought. It can be the name of your mother, the name of a daughter, someone you’ve lost, someone you’ve never had, a thought, a story, a memory, or simply a flower taken in comforting silence, to keep just for you and only you.

So here below are some flower photos from just recently in Japan. Choose your flower, and in the comments, share your reflection, adding to our Mother’s Day Remembrance Garden. Even if you don’t see this on Sunday, please add to it anytime. We can remember and share no matter the day, your thoughts are always welcome. <3
If you prefer, you can also visit the private Chat Thread and share a photo. <3
Thank you so so much. Sending love always. <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

Thank you Jess, for a beautiful Mother's Day. I would choose the daisies as they were your grandmother's favorite flower. She had daisy house dresses, daisy earrings, and the daisies we would bring her from the field. 💛
A white rose for my mom, Patricia. I have never known anyone with greater integrity than my mom and a white rose symbolizes that for me. I miss her every day.
