Thanks Jesse, ordered, now I have the lyric and the image version - very happy! The reasonable delivery charges are appreciated too. Bestest wishes to you and the team.
Thank you for your lovely tour post no 1 ! I wasn’t able to see it live so only just catching up now ….. i just have to say what a joy it is to be part of your substack community !
I was at the show on Sunday and it was so good to finally see you on stage and to witness such an amazing performance from Patti and her incredible band !
I have been lucky enough to have been at quite a few of Patti’s shows over the years but for me this was also something of a personal triumph as travelling is not as easy as it once was ! However, the memories and the sheer positive energy gained from ‘Sunday Night at the London Palladium ‘ was worth every mile !
I didn’t see any QR codes at the theatre but would love to buy a tee shirt …. I wonder if there is any way I can order online ?
I hope this tour continues to be a wonderful energising journey for you all and please know that the love and the joy we experience together on these nights will stay with me always !
Safe travels Jesse and thank you again .
PS . I think we all need a Simon in our lives ! 🍂🦋❤️
Thanks for the update, Jesse. Happy to hear everything seems to be going well—and cupcakes are always a bonus!
Seriously though, your coordinating with local print makers is a great thing, and as with the difficulties you’ve recently experienced with your home, it sounds like it’s created an opportunity for something even better. Kudos to the Welsh gentleman for making the effort to accommodate the fans with the QR code! And to your friend Simon for helping you sort out your precious things back home—it’s good to have those good connections and to make new ones.
I think it’s good for us to go back to being able to take life as it comes, to make space for each other when life happens. (It happens to all of us eventually!) It can ease the pressure of deadlines and schedules enough so that we don’t burn out. So yeah, you’re busy enough now as it is; get good rest when you can; and we’ll hear from you when we hear from you.
All the best to you, your mom and brother, the band, and all the crew, everyone else helping to make the shows happen, and may all the shows be a joy and respite for you all and the fans alike. Be well, everyone! 🙏
I have a question: what do you generally do after the concerts are over? Do you all go out together and eat? Or debrief or crash? Or pack up to travel? Just curious about what happens afterwards…Xxoo pamela
Thank you so much for sharing your precious moments. I was cleaning a few relics from my departed 14 yr heart dog while listening to you and receiving your beautiful Spirit; it was a balm to my heart.
I'm thrilled that I'll be seeing your Mom in Seattle; I'm thrilled that I'll have genuine Patti Smith swag to wear during my 60's and beyond! Much Appreciation. 💞
How wonderful that you are with everyone in London, Jesse. Such a magical city.
Congratulations on the tour - it's so exciting.
And I appreciate what you said about surrendering. It's taken me most of my adult life to learn the importance of that. You are such a thoughtful person, and care about so many things down to the smallest details. That can be a lot of pressure. Things rarely go as planned even for the most thoughtful. Learning to surrender to things that are beyond your control is really important.
Good luck with the tour and I hope that you have many grand adventures.
Take care and wishing you and the the whole crew all the best.
Thanks for the update, Jesse! I have tickets for the show in Los Angeles on November 15th, I think. It's the first concert I will be going to in many years. And I've never been to the Disney Center either. I'm bringing my granddaughter so it'll be a great experience. Can't wait. Really, can't wait.
Howdy, Jesse, and thanks for the updates! So kind of you to drop by! The Band is so lucky to have you looking after them. My, my, I had no idea of the challenges you’d been through with your apartment ceiling, dust, etc., but I love your reinterpretation of “leveling UP.” I’m going to keep that one in my hip pocket and use it! Looking forward to any and all updates you can make time for. Give hugs to your Mom and the Band….xoxo (PS - Your closet desk sounds spectacular!!!)
